An original men’s kimono piece created for those who truly love budo.

Inspired by traditional Odogu-narabe (patterns featuring tea utensils or hair ornaments), Shogo wanted to create a version rooted in the world he loves most—the world of martial arts.
Thus, “Budo Equipment Pattern” was born.

The base design uses Same-komon, a pattern inspired by samekawa (ray skin), traditionally used on katana handles.
Across this surface, real budo tools—katana, jō (staff), kama, kusarigama (chain weapon), tessen (metal fan) and more—are boldly arranged.
Each motif was created by scanning actual training weapons used in Asayama Ichiden-ryu Hyoho, the classical martial art Shogo practices.

A must-have piece for budo practitioners and enthusiasts.

Han-gi Design (Upper Garment Only)

This garment is a han-gi, a kimono top designed to be worn with hakama.
It pairs especially well with budo hakama, making it ideal both in and out of the dojo.

After training, try changing just the top—wear this han-gi over your keikogi, keep your hakama on, and head out with your dojo friends for a meal or casual gathering ☺️
