Design
This beautiful vintage komon (small-patterned casual kimono) is a dyed kimono made of fine silk and fully lined (awase), making it ideal for the cooler seasons – from October to May.
The fabric features a variety of traditional auspicious motifs – seasonal flowers, treasure motifs (takara-zukushi), shippo (interlocking circles), and sayagata (key-fret patterns), along with many other elegant details that give it a timeless, classical look.
Because it has many colors dyed into the design, it pairs easily with a wide variety of obi – perfect for experimenting with coordination.
This piece is especially rare for its tall size, with a length of 175cm. It’s a great choice for someone who usually wears a 3L size kimono.
